ASO EXAM
The full form of A.S.O is Assistant section officer .The examination is conducted for recruitment to posts of Assistant Section Officer in Group –B of Odisha Secretariat Service under HOME Department,Government Of Odisha.
The competitive examination for recruitment to posts of ASO will be conducted in 2 stages:
i)written examination(objective type-mcqs)
ii) Skill test in computer(Practical-Qualifying)
Only those candidates who have been shortlisted after the written test shall be called for the skill test in Computer(practical) by opsc,which shall be qualifying in nature.One has to secure atleast 40 % of total marks in skill tests to qualify it.
The OPSC shall be competent to fix up the qualifying marks in any or all subjects of examination.
Final ranking of the candidates shall be on the basis of marks obtained in written examination.
In case of candidates securing same marks in aggregate,the candidate securing higher marks in General knowledge shall rank above others.
In case marks secured in the General Knowledge is also the same,final rankings shall be determined by the age,i.e,the person older in age shall be placed above the younger.
